What really constitutes Peer Review? Oftentimes it appears to be all inclusive – other times it is not. What does your state law say about Peer Review and protection of that information? Does your medical staff really do a good job performing peer review?

3.) Provide and discuss suggested committee structures to support a good working peer review process
4.) Discuss and display samples of good peer review documentation

Christina W. Giles, CPMSM, MS is the principal in Medical Staff Solutions, a consulting firm specializing in education/training of credentialing personnel and orientation/training of medical staff leaders, assessment of medical staff administrative functions such as credentialing, privileging and peer review, assessment and development of medical staff governance documents: Bylaws, policies and procedures and survey preparation.
