announced today the finalists for the 2008 Canadian Healthcare Excellence in
Quality Award (CHEQA). Acknowledged as one of Canada’s premiere healthcare
awards, CHEQA recognizes organizations and programs that have demonstrated
excellence in the areas of patient safety and overall quality of care. rL
Solutions, together with the Quality Health Network (QHN), participated in the
selection of the finalists.
In no particular order, the finalists for this year’s
award are Grand River General Hospital of Kitchener, Ontario; Kelowna General
Hospital of Kelowna, British Columbia; Winnipeg Children’s Hospital of
Winnipeg, Manitoba (with 2 entries in the finals); and North York General
Hospital of Toronto, Ontario.

year, winners of CHEQA are awarded $15,000 to help with their quality and

Canadian Healthcare Symposium 8 in Winnipeg,
Manitoba, from October 23rd –
25th, 2008.
