will receive $15,000 for its winning entry focusing on improving the overall
patient experience

2008, Toronto, ON – rL Solutions, the leading provider of
healthcare quality and safety software, announced today that North York General
Hospital (NYGH) is the winner of the 2008 Canadian Healthcare Excellence in
Quality Award (CHEQA).
The winning entry, entitled
Patient Flow: Improving the Overall
Patience Experience, focused on improving patient flow and access to care
across four areas: within the Emergency Department, between the Emergency
Department and General Internal Medicine, within General Internal Medicine and
in partnership with its Community Care Access Centre.
Selected from among 5
finalists, NYGH will be reward $15,000 at a ceremony taking place at the
Canadian Healthcare Symposium 8 in Winnipeg,
MN, on Friday, October 24th.
